Children's Bible Study

Friday night we hosted the monthly children's bible study at our house. Each month, our children's minister has a Bible study for the children. Each month a different family in our church hosts them. This month we hosted the study in our home. Here are a few shots of the children who came. Several of the children are on vacation and it seems that most of the boys had all-star baseball games. So, we had three girls.

After Bible study time, we had pizza. Then we went out side and I - yes, I - rode them around on the four-wheeler for a little while.

And Sugar had to ride too.

After the four-wheeler ride, she was done. Daddy took her inside, gave her some milk and she went to bed. The girls wanted to walk down to the lake.

They enjoyed playing in the mud for a little while.

Don't let the smiles fool you. These sweet girls are a handful.

I'm not sure what it was they wanted, but they thought this look would help them get it.

Just a brief rest before...

... they decided to play in the sprinkler for a while.

This is what I have to look forward to - a house full of girls who can always find SOMETHING to get into. They really enjoyed themselves.

This little girl is a mess. Full of personality. And loves to talk.
After they were soaked, we sat out on the porch for a little while longer. Then they all had a bath and I spent the next 30 minutes getting tangles out of hair. But I loved every minute of it. Hannah had to go home because she has somewhere to be early in the morning. Anna and Shawna are sleeping on the couch next to me. Yeah, we're having a little slumber party. They'll be with us for a little while tomorrow. I know Sara Madalin will be so excited when she wakes up to see them here.

What sweet memories! And what a blessing you are to those little girls at such a impressionable age. Bless you!
