Sleeping Beauty

This photo was taken a couple weeks ago. It was during the first week that Sara Madalin was in her toddler bed and not one of us in this house was getting a full night's sleep. After I left for class this particular Monday night, she decided she'd catch a quick nap. Margaret said that Sara Madalin had gotten her cup and crawled into her beanbag and gone to sleep. This is how she was when Reagan got home. Bless her sweet heart. Momma's baby girl was so tired.

Thankfully, she has adjusted to the bed and sleeps pretty much the same amount of time as before. Only now, she has the freedom to come running into our room when she wakes up. And, as much as we try, that girl will NOT go back to sleep once she's awake.

Oh how I remember those days of switching from a baby bed to a toddler bed. It finally stuck, so hang in there!

we have gone through the same drama this past week with the toddler bed transition. I have to put up the baby gate across the threshold of her door because I am afraid she will wander in the middle of the night and fall down the stairs (our home is a split level). Last night she stayed in her bed almost the whole night, so I'm praying tonight we get back to normal!
She loves to look at SM's pictures on your blog and 'talk' to her! She is 21 months old and a fearless stuntwoman as well :)
