Vacation Recap - Now That I Have Rested

Last Tuesday morning, we loaded up our gear and hopped on a plane to Orlando. It was the first time that Sara Madalin had her own seat. She also carried her own carry on bag. She is such a big girl these days.

We spent the next couple days playing at the Disney parks. When we went for our first visit last October, we paid a little extra and bought season tickets with plans to return a couple times throughout the next year. Our tickets expire Tuesday, so this was our last visit. We have thoroughly enjoyed playing there and hope to return at some point in the future.

We also had a couple opportunities to visit with our friends, the Glenns. We attended Wednesday night church service at the church where Bro. Dan is senior pastor. We always enjoy hearing him preach. He has such a heart for ministry and is very engaging as a preacher. We are pretty fond of Nicki and Jonah too.

Thursday night we attended the Not-So-Scary Halloween party. We had a blast. Friday night the Glenns came over and we played in Magic Kingdom with them. Saturday we rested and Sunday came home. We had a wonderful time together. I love to spend time with Reagan and Sara Madalin. It's trying at times, especially when she starts to get so sleepy she can hardly communicate with us. But when she's had her rest, she is so much fun. And it's those times that we live for.

Here are a few photos of her playing at the hotel playground. She is such a character. We love her so much. She kept us laughing the whole week. We were eating lunch one day and she turned to me and said, "Mommy, I soaking wet." She had wet her pants. Rather than tell me BEFORE she goes in her pants, she likes to tell me afterwards.

And now we're home. Yay! We are still trying to catch up on rest, but have another busy week. I look forward to spending it with great friends and these two very special people in my life.
