Sara Madalin had a very good Valentine's Day. It started when Daddy got home on Monday night. But, before I show those photos, here's a copy of her Valentine card that she gave to her friends at school.
We took the photo one morning a few weeks ago and then ordered small 2x3 cards from Tiny Prints. I ordered just a few in a larger size that we sent to a few family members.
She gave the above card to her friends, along with a little goody bag full of candy, 2 tattoos, a kaleidoscope and a coupon for a donut at Krispy Kreme. I bought everything (except the coupons) at The Dollar Tree. I also made some strawberry candy for her teachers from this recipe I found on Pinterest. SM was upset because she didn't get to taste any of it.
Now, Monday night when Reagan got home, he brought home Valentines for SM and me. She got her first rose from her Daddy. It was so sweet. And look at her reaction.
Isn't that priceless? She also got a card, some sweet tarts, and a balloon. That plays music. EVERY. TIME. you tap it.
Luckily it was only good for about 50 plays, which she reached by the middle of the day today.
Her card was a princess card and he read it to her once she opened it.
She loved the rose too.
She got him a card too. She opened it for him and it is now in her possession. But it's his card. Ha.
I sent my small camera with her to school today and her sweet teachers took a few photos for me. Here she is, with her friend Cloe, placing their Valentine treats in the bags for all their classmates.
Here she is with Mrs. Melodi. We love her.
Enjoying the party.
My little sweetheart.
She's had a good day, took a great nap, enjoyed a couple pieces of candy, and is now sitting her Daddy's lap watching Dora.
Happy Valentine's Day.
