Movie Time

This past Saturday afternoon, after the soccer game, the birthday party, and a nap, we took Sara Madalin to see her first theater movie. Here she is before entering the theater.

Our tickets to see Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Getting a few snacks. She immediately ran to the candy window, which was at a perfect height for her to drool over the contents. Think they plan in that way for little people just like her? Yeah, I'm guessing they do.

While Daddy was getting the snacks, she and I went over to take a picture with the Chipmunks.

This is her reaction when she saw the big bag of popcorn and the blue Icee that Reagan had gotten for them.

Going into our theater. Here Daddy is teaching her that a real gentleman always hold the door for a lady.

She enjoyed the movie. We got there as the previews were playing, which we think was probably a little early. Simply because, after sitting through 15 minutes of previews, she only made it through about 30 minutes of the movie before she became restless. I think that was also about the time that the popcorn and the Icee ran out as well.
